Snow Haiku

This piece is from Catalina's "Haiku" series,  inspired by 10th-century Japananese poet Shoganon ("The Pillow Book") and her subtlety in portraying life.

The original is in oils, painted on hand dyed linen.

This piece has been meticulously reproduced on cotton paper, and captures the subtleties of the delicate tints and brushstrokes.  Edges are hand tornand is floated behind glass in a custom walnut frame. 40x32 inches.
